The Siri Kourou motif was developed at Waraniéné in the early 2000’s. It is a mixed motif, meaning that it is produced using both weft-float motif and ikat designs. Handwoven in raw cotton, this pillowcase has a texture similar to raw silk. With use, the weave will tighten, patina, and soften. These cloths are hand dyed and some transfer onto lighter colors may occur.
